I really dont know what the hell I am talking abt

They say life is governed by the choices that you make. Every person comes across an infinite number of choices which shape his or her life in infinitesimally different ways. Out of every choice made a 'could have' is born, which creates many 'might have been' parallel universes. Come to think of it your reading of this blog is a conscious choice that you are making right about now. I know a lot of you might argue that point saying I just happened to stumble upon here and et all but the fact is here again right about now you have a choice of leaving this post right HERE. So as I read this out to a fractured audience I would like to ask you do youreally think made a difference by chosing to be a part of a group that reads this post in its entirety. Would your lives really be any different as a result of this choice or would you just go on now with your usual run of the mill lives? Also I am guessing that almost all of you that did start reading this post have gotten around to the very end. So does it really mean that we actually do have a choice or is it just a fuzzy little thought by which we humor ourselves.

i believe yes there are always choices and options...we're free to choose but i also believe that the choice we make is the choice that we were MEANT to make..
its like we walk on a path that isnt really set...but the road sort of lays itself with every step we take..

Kind of reminded me of the movie 'Sliding Doors'. Does a parallel life story and answers the "could have been"s.

I think the effects of reading your post have been off-set by my comments. So, for every one thing that pulls you in one direction, there is another thing pulling it right back.Dynamic equillibrium theory put forth by Totti. For example, we would have won the tournament no matter what.Whether chillar bowled the fifth or the eight over :)..So, there, does that put your mind to rest?

I have thought for a long time that life is like those comic books, where you get to go to different page depending on what choice you amke. Sometimes different paths lead to the same ending.
Sure we have a choice..but I feel like at every point its only finitely many..and the sequence of choices determine our lives..

Wheter reading a post makes a difference?
Perhaps haan na? cause I feel like now I know someone else who has had the same thought as mine...

WTH.. Dude, too philosophical. Was it out of too many all-nighters or a few brews?? Either way, its blurred as anything typically IS. Anywho, nice dose of reality from Totti.

Yes we are given choices and we choose what best fits our situation at that particular time, even though we might regret it later on.

Was it a conscious thought that you wrote such a post?

@ps Thank you but dont let a post with such a title be a life changing post

@Mahima SO if we always make a choice that we were meant to make how does it qualify as a choice then?

@M Welcome back to blogosphere, havent seen the movie but reminds me of Groundhog Day

@totti 'I think the effects of reading your post have been off-set by my comments' ????????
Also if what to say is true I dont have to live the rest of my life in the guilt of having made a wrong decision costing us the tournament :))

@ligne Glad we concur on that thought chain, also but then how does that knowledge alter ur life?

@Subash I know man this post is kind diferent from my style, I guess I wanted to write somethign else but ended up with this hence the title

@Reader If we have to chose only one of the possible options which we cant go back in time and change how does it really qualify as a choice

@Jinguchakka The title to the post should have dropped enough hints to that question :)

I have made a choice to make my presence felt by keying in a pointless comment

Every decision we make changes our lives a little bit. Not only that, it even affects the direction of other peoples lives (for e.g. after this post 'ps' will never be the same again :), though I suspect she was just being sarcastic). Its not just a "fuzzy little thought", everyone of us did make a decision to finish reading the post even when given a choice to leave it midway. Unlike ps though, my life goes on just the same.

Its still a choice because no matter what you go through a decision making process before doing something. You have your options, and if you choose the wrong one you gotta deal with it I guess. It's the repercussions of your choice ;)

hmmmm

now that's an interesting perspective, food for thought!!

but I also wonder if certain things happen for a reason..like me stumbling upon this blog...

May be..just may be...

@Mahima Its eggjactly u gotta learn now that u r heading down under :)

@Point Point(less) taken

@Anarkist PS is killin me with the sarcasm alrite :)

@Reader If we only chose what we are meant to is it really a choice or just a perspective

@chandni Well we'll have to wait and watch abt that wont we?

In terms of the outcome its your perspective but your still the one making the decision.
